Meshbelt Furnace THIS FURNACE WAS RECONFIGURED AND SOLD IN MAY, 2008.
This is a meshbelt furnace built for Lubealloy, by Rolock, in 1998. It was used for only a short time (we think about 2 years). We purchased the unit when Lubealloy liquidated its assets and closed its doors.
There are two sets of photographs shown here: One is of the furnace when it was new and the second of the furnace as it is currently in storage. The specifications are as follows:
Operating temp: 2,200 Degrees F Heat source: Elec, silicon carbide elements. Power req: 480V, approx 100 kw Atmosphere: Hydrogen / Nitrogen Capacity: Approx 200 lbs/hr Throat: 12"W X 4"H Quench: Two, each, 7' long water jacketed sections. Muffle: Inconel 600, 12' long Belt speed: Variable to 25 inches per minute
The price of this furnace, FOB your truck at our dock, is $96,400.00
The price includes inspection, maintenance and overhaul as required and includes: New silicon carbide heating elements. New 12" wide mesh belt. Updated controls. Full system drawings and documentation including spares list (we acquired the complete drawings and designs from Rolock in 2002). Since the personnel who originally designed the furnace now work for us we have unique and specific knowledge of this equipment. Three days on-site technical service for advice and guidance on set-up and operator training (in the continental US).
