TDI Smart Furnace
The TDI Smart Furnace is a small top load pit type furnace designed for a 2000 degree F working temperature with very impressive temperature uniformity of +/- 7 degrees F top to bottom. It also comes equipped with a blower for an enhanced ambient cool down cycle.
The Smart furnace is designed for production work with a rebuildable hot section. This means that the hot section can be removed and replaced, in its entirety on the production shop floor in as little as 2 hours by two maintenance personnel. The hot section can then be rebuilt by either maintenance personnel or by TDI on an exchange basis.
The furnace retort has a 20" diameter X 30" deep working envelope and can be configured for atmosphere.
In addition to the furnace and retort, TDI can also supply an atmosphere panel designed and configured for specific conditions.
