TDI Smart Furnace

The TDI Smart Furnace is a small top load pit type furnace designed for a 2000 degree F working temperature with very impressive temperature uniformity of +/- 7 degrees F top to bottom. It also comes equipped with a blower for an enhanced ambient cool down cycle.
The Smart furnace is designed for production work. The heating elements are relatively long lived and it has a rebuildable hot section. This means that the hot section can be removed and replaced, in its entirety on the production shop floor in as little as 2 hours by two maintenance personnel. The hot section can then be rebuilt by either maintenance personnel or by TDI on an exchange basis.
Depending upon cycle length and use, a typical user of our Smart Furnace, in a production environment, may reasonably expect a hot section to last 4 to 6 years.
The furnace retort has a 20" diameter X 30" deep working envelope and can be configured for atmosphere.
In addition to furnace and retort, TDI can also supply load fixtures configured to your specific needs and an atmosphere panel designed and configured for specific conditions.
